Anti-slip Glass

Anti-slip glass is made by applying a non-slip coating onto the surface of the glass during the screenprinting process.

Anti-slip glass is used in applications such as glass stair treads, glass flooring and landing panels. It is usually applied in dot or line patterns.

Apart from the obvious safety benefits, the inclusion of a dot matrix pattern also adds an aesthetic decorative finish to the glass.

It is manufactured in the same way as screen-printed glass, except that a grit material, which does not subsequently melt when the enamel is fired into the glass, is added to the screen printing ink.
