Anti-reflective Glass

Anti-reflective glass is a specialised glass product treated to reduce the amount of surface reflection seen from the face of the glass. Made from extra clear, low-iron, anti-reflective glass is produced by dipping the low-iron glass in different solutions of metal oxides, creating a coating on all faces of the glass that prevents visual reflectance.

The low residual reflection (typically ten times lower than conventional glass) improves transparency and colour contrast. These anti-reflective coatings produce an almost invisible glass unit, with no colouration or tint to the glass with little visual reflectance.
